Terrier lifting clamps are working in harsh and dangerous areas on a daily basis. So absolute safety and safe lifting is our number one priority. All lifting clamps are tested on our in-house testing facilities up to 2 times the Working Load Limit (WLL). Terrier Lifting Clamps are designed on a break factor of even 5 times the WLL.
Each clamp has red signal colouring on lifting eye and locking lever for extra safety and is supplied with a test certificate. When using Terrier clamps please make sure to read safety instruction.
Vertical clamps are espcially designed for lifting (stainless) steel sheets, profiles or structures in a straight up direction. Terrier’s safety plate lifting clamps derive their name from the built-in safety mechanism, which consists of a locking device, a tension spring and a lever. Once the lever has been operated, the safety mechanism provides constant pre-tensioning of the cam on the steel-plate, thereby ensuring that the clamp does not slip when lifting force is applied. When a load is being lifted the clamping force on the cam is increased by the weight of the load.
Features and benefits:
- With 2 special synthetic anti-friction pads to guarantee non-marking
- Supplied with chain lifting shackle for flexible lifting
- Always equipped with a safety mechanism, ensuring the clamp does not slip when non-marKing lifting lifting force is applied and when load is being lowered
